![]() They viewed cam and saw that the speaker was sealed/unopened. We called his bluff and the ASM's came as did the APASM. Boy was the FES hot.Īnother time, a customer bought a BT speaker, then came back five minutes later and said it was "empty". $299 lost because CS wasn't paying attention. Shitboot customer put their OWN phone in there. But no one at returns called us, or checked it to verify. Then another time, someone returned an S7. One time it was just a paper cutout with an HDMI cord(no one verified it). ![]() I've had customers "return" chromecasts that had nothing in the box. Usually, it ends up getting approved anyways and I get yelled at by claims(even though it wasn't my fault). It's like:"Considering I sold it to you and it was unopened, that is about as unlikely as me caring." I don't say that, but I think it. Customer will screech that they "bought it that way". ![]() The SN's will match if they are correct as each SN is unique for each controller. Mind you, MS is not stupid and puts SN's on their stuff(one on the box and one in the battery/pack housing), so it's easy to tell that it's not the same item. I've had people try to return the same controller in the wrong box, and is still gets approved because they don't want that dreaded call from HO. I guess I got lucky and it depends on who you talk to. I went in and politely explained it was defective and I was able to exchange it for the exact same controller. One question, will I be asked when I got it? I know with receipts you have 3 months to return some things so would I get 100% turned down if I said I got it 5 months ago? It still looks brand new and has no signs of wear other than a bit of grime on a thumbstick, would I be better off saying I got it two months ago or something?Įdit for anyone who sees this: It actually worked first try for me. Some are allowed to do it if you give ID which is fine to me. I'm reading up on people trying to exchange stuff without receipts and it looks like it depends on the store/who you talk to. I've taken good care of it so far and haven't even used it that much so this is way too quick for a $75 controller to break. So 5 months ago I got a new controller and just recently a thumbstick started drifting to the point where it's making some game unplayable.
